With nearly 20 years of media and communications experience, Karolyn Raphael has taken clients from near-obscurity to recognition on a national level. Her work in strategy, media placements, PR training, and digital marketing includes business-to-business consulting firms, nationally-ranked healthcare systems, trade associations, law firms, art shows and non-profit organizations. She’s created city-wide awareness campaigns and landed stand-out media placements in national and local news outlets.
Karolyn joined the marketing agency in 1997 as an associate and was named the president in 2006. Prior to her work with Winger Marketing, Karolyn worked on campaigns for GDMI with national brands including Domino’s Pizza, Sir Speedy Printing, Roto Rooter and Gingiss Formalwear. Additionally, she worked as the lead radio producer for the Indiana University News Bureau. Awards under her leadership include the 2008 Bulldog Award for Excellence in Media Relations, the Communicator Awards, the Summit Creative Awards, The Hermes Creative Award, and the Platinum PR Awards. Karolyn is an annual presenter at the Amdur Productions Artist Boot Camp and has led PR 101 and PR 2.0 programs for chapters of the National Association of Women’s Business Owners and various entrepreneur groups. She is a graduate of Indiana University, Bloomington. Karolyn also knows the lyrics to almost any musical created before 1990 and she can still do a double pirouette.

A passionate writer, an effective communicator, an idea generator, and a strategic marketer, Alisa understands the power of publicity and has mastered its techniques.
Before forming AB Public Relations in 2003, Alisa spent six years as the Public Relations Director for the Chicago Convention and Tourism Bureau. While there, she handled publicity and promotions for numerous conventions, trade shows and special events at McCormick Place and Navy Pier. In addition to directing press conferences, writing newsletters, securing stories, and leading several community task forces, she was a key player in the creation of Mayor Richard M. Daley's "We're Glad You're Here!" program, an award winning city-wide welcome initiative for tourists and business travelers, which is still being used today.

Lead Graphic Designer
Chris is a talented graphic designer with experience in media and print design. He brings enthusiasm and keen ability to quickly translate a concept into concrete, creative designs. Chris collaborates with our account teams and clients to deliver dynamic, eye-catching designs that help clients meet business goals. Chris is a graduate of Illinois State University and has performed a wide range of design work for industries including healthcare, travel technology, education, nonprofits, and restaurants. In addition to always honing his artistic skills, Chris has a minor obsession with VW's. His recent purchase of a non-VW vehicle has created a stir at Winger Marketing and with his Instagram followers.
Assistant Account Executive
Maeve McNaughton has been working in the travel industry since 1990. After receiving her BA in Hotel and Catering Management from the College of Catering, Cathal Brugha Street, Dublin, Ireland, Maeve moved to Chicago in 1993. She has worked in a wide range of hotels and served as the Hospitality Sales Manager for the Hilton Chicago and Towers. Maeve has excelled throughout her career and has expanded her skills to include managing staff, overseeing and coordinating events, training development and execution, and budget management. She brings great insight into the needs of business and leisure travelers alike. Customer service is her passion, and she strives to ensure she not only meets, but exceeds the expectations of her Winger clients.
You will find Maeve chauffeuring her three girls to swim meets or water polo games; she is active in the community and is the Chair of the Onahan School Council. She especially looks forward to visits from family and friends from Ireland.
Marcy is a media relations expert with 30 years+ of experience. She has designed, implemented, and orchestrated communication projects that have generated increased revenues and awareness for businesses and communities. She has been instrumental in landing clients for guest appearances on Good Morning America, Nightline, CNN, and numerous local television and radio programs.
